Hot Debates on Hot Topics - You Want it Too?One of the major points of contention in politics today is hot, debatable topics. Many are running around on it and many people are not talking about it. So we know how much we all like to talk about controversial issues and debates. For years, I have been saying that people should stick to actual issues because they are far more interesting than hot debatable topics that happen to be hot right now.It seems to me though that you cannot ignore all the hot debate topics. People love talking about them and even the hot debatable topics people get mad about or get upset about, like a proposed amendment to the constitution of the united states, everyone has an opinion about it.If someone can show me any event that occurred that made him happy or caused him to be happy, it would seem that it happened because of a hot topic that was featured in the news, and it also causes him or her to change his or her mind. How did they know this hot topic when so many others were wrong?I think the subject of hot debatable topics should not be looked at like a contest that one can lose. I believe that hot debates on hot topics should be allowed to be about these topics. Those topics can be whatever you want them to be about.I do not mean like there are people out there who have to be the moderator of the hot debates, but it should not be an entire debate with other debaters with no regard for the issue. Instead of having it about an issue, why not have it about people. If they agree with the issue, then maybe they can be considered legitimate debaters who had different opinions on a hot topic, as long as they can show proof that their opinions were based on fact.Now then, I think you should get hot debates and hot topics for anyone who wants to have them. I am not even talking about pretending to be a moderator who knows what he or she is doing, I am talking about allowing the subject to be in the headline of the article or lead.Everyone would enjoy it because it would be like having an article published in a newspaper on a hot topic. When someone goes to the paper and reads the article on the topic, they would get a sense of what the topic means to them. This makes the subject seem like a real topic and not just a hot topic that got the moderator to get mad or something.As long as the topic can be supported by fact, then they can be considered a hot topic, or a hot debate. Everyone would enjoy them and everyone would become the subject instead of being a subject on a hot topic.
