Conflict Theory Research Paper Topics

Conflict Theory Research Paper TopicsSome conflict theory research paper topics include the concept of cultural evolution, the conflict between the individual and society, globalization, anti-colonialism, power and identity, and ideology. However, these topics are almost certainly not all of them. For example, the standard study of cultural evolution might include the followings: Evolutionary Changes in a Social Environment, Group Selection in Social Behaviour, and Social Choice as a Process of Development. As far as the fourth item is concerned, it means that the environment plays a role in shaping people's social behaviour. This way, it might be explained that the interplay between the individual and society plays a major role in shaping the way people react and adapt to a given situation. The study of group selection in cultural evolution goes a little further than the preceding two. Basically, this is the process by which an outsider can influence the behaviour of the dominant grou p members. It can then be seen that not only the organisation but also the inner structure of the group play a significant role in the outcomes that arise from group selection. Finally, the study of anti-colonialism takes a slightly different turn. This theory states that colonialist countries tend to promote their own culture and values. This study, therefore, elaborates on the notion that there is an intrinsic value embedded in the native culture and values.Since the modern world is a highly multiracial and multicultural world, much has been written about the role of science in influencing the way people react and respond to situations. One such theory on this subject is called multiculturalism. In this, the diversity of culture, origin, and even the customs can be seen as a factor that can be influenced by scientific research.Ultimately, it is the essence of every society to be united, if not for the sake of unity, then at least for the sake of survival. Hence, differences are usu ally more detrimental than beneficial. And since social forces like political interests tend to unite as well as divide people, conflict can and does arise among different groups.Such conflicts can then be analysed with the help of conflict theory research papers. As a matter of fact, the studies that attempt to explain the role of the individual in conflict can also be extended to the understanding of the differences among people. It is thus necessary to consider various aspects of social sciences such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, sociology, and others. By doing so, it is possible to understand that people in reality do not have to live together in harmony and they do not have to fight each other either.
